Our Team

Drs. Acampado and Savage believe in providing the best quality of care for their patients. Educating and helping the patient to make informed decisions and taking preventive measures are key to developing successful long term oral health. The required amount of continuing education for a dentist in the state of North Carolina is 15 credit hours a year. Both doctors take approximately 100 credit hours a year because of their commitment to excellence. The products they use, as well as the procedures and methods implemented in the practice, are all based on sound scientific data, research and evidence based dentistry.

Dr. Nancy Acampado

D.D.S.

Dr. Acampado is originally from Cleveland, OH and received her B.S. in Biology from The Ohio State University. She earned her D.D.S. in 1996 from New York University College of Dentistry and completed a General Practice Residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. After three years in private practice in New York City, she was commissioned as an officer to the United States Air Force. As a dentist in the USAF Dental Corp she received decorations and awards for outstanding achievement for Dental Service and Readiness, including the Air Force Achievement Medal for Outstanding Service, and the Air Force Commendation Medal. She has graduated from the prestigious Dawson Academy in Florida, completing the Core Curriculum and advanced restorative courses in Comprehensive Esthetic Dentistry and Functional Occlusion. Dr. Acampado has also graduated from the world renowned Kois Center for Advanced Dentistry, an evidence base Dental teaching Center in Seattle, WA. The Kois Center is the only continuing education program in the country conducting and publishing independent research.  As a result, Kois Center Graduates like Dr. Acampado and Dr. Savage are always up to date with the most recent advances in dental esthetics, implants and restorative dentistry.  Additionally, Dr. Acampado is a member of The American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the North Carolina Dental Society.  Dr. Acampado has been affiliated with Carolinas Medical Center, Carolinas Mobile Dentistry and  Access Dental Care, where she provided Geriatric Dental Care for nursing home and assisted living patients in her spare time.

 

Dr. Grace Savage

D.D.S.

Dr. Savage is from Fairfax, Virginia and received her B.S. in Psychology with Distinction from George Mason University in 1997 and graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 2001 with Distinction. From 2001-2004, she served in The United States Air Force at Pope Air Force Base in Fayetteville, NC Continuing education is an integral part of Dr. Savage’s practice. She participates in over 100 continuing education hours every year in order to stay current with the latest advances in dentistry. She has graduated from a number of prestigious programs around the country, including:

Dr. Savage is presently a member of The American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, NC Dental Society and received her Fellowship with The International Congress of Oral Implantologists.  Dr. Savage is married to Dr. Matthew Savage and they have three children, Price, Riley and Ada Bett. She enjoys exercising, cooking and napping with the kids during her free time.
