Notable Features

At Tranquil Family Dentistry, we believe in going above and beyond for our patients. To do so, we invest in the most cutting edge technology, make ourselves readily available, and invest in our continuing education.

After Hours

Our doctors are available after hours to meet the needs of all patients of record for any emergencies or concerns, big or small. In addition, our doctors are available after hours to answer any questions patients may have in regards to treatment plans or anything dental related. It is important to us that our patients feel safe and comfortable about the care they are receiving.

TMJ Botox

Botox may help relieve the symptoms of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction. Botox for TMJ dysfunction may relax the jaw, reduce pain, and enable the person to open their mouth fully. TMJ Disorders (TMD) can cause jaw pain, headaches, and other symptoms. Botox can often relieve the symptoms. For some people, though, TMD symptoms continue to be painful and disabling.

Dr Savage can inject Botox into the jaw muscles. This paralyzes the muscles, helping the
person relax and reducing symptoms such as tensing the jaw and grinding. As a result, a
person’s TMJ-related symptoms may improve.

Implants

Dental implants are designed to provide the foundation for replacement teeth. Implants can be placed without altering the healthy adjacent teeth. Implants are small titanium posts placed surgically to replace the root of your missing tooth. They bond to healthy bone and provide permanent support for dental crowns or dentures. Once the implant is healed and integrated into your jaw bone, a custom designed implant abutment and porcelain crown is made and attached to the implant. The result is restoration that functions as a real tooth and blends in with the rest of your teeth. Implants can also provide the foundation to replace several teeth with a custom designed full or partial denture. As a result, dental implants can help preserve facial structure, preventing the bone deterioration which occurs when teeth are missing.
